Reports indicate that ALE, operating under the brand Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, is entering into a partnership with Ventev Wireless Infrastructure, a manufacturing and engineering arm of TESSCO Technologies, for offering an end-to-end Wi-Fi infrastructure solution to customers.

Citing sources familiar with the matter, the two companies are teaming up to ease up and enhance the deployment of OmniAccess Stellar products of ALE into a wide range of vertical segments such as transportation, education, healthcare, hospitality and government.

Apparently, the ALE-Ventev collaboration is being built on the existing relations between ALE and Tessco. As the newest distributor of ALE, Tessco allows for an extended reach into U.S. enterprises with one-stop shop offerings that support the digital transformation of businesses, sources commented. The new partnership is aimed at supporting the rapid growth of mobile workspace.

North America VP of Channels at Alcatel-Lucent, Gene Hawks, said this collaboration with Ventev represents a vital opportunity to offer the company’s partner community a complete indoor/outdoor wireless infrastructure product ecosystem, enhancing the Stellar WAN solutions of Alcatel-Lucent further.

Hawks mentioned that Ventev, being a world leader in wireless infrastructure components as well as turnkey solutions, provides a complete end-to-end solution from a single and scalable source. The partnership will provide world class solutions and flexibility for solving difficult business challenges of customers in the Wi-Fi space, he added.

Vice President of Ventev, Mary Beth Smith remarked that the wide variety of products offered by Ventev provides surrounding ALE access points which are able to solve complicated wireless infrastructure challenges. Reportedly, ALE’s OmniStellar access points as well as complete range of products from Ventev surrounding them, are now available for purchase at Tessco.

For the uninitiated, ALE provides communication, enterprise networking and services to more than 830,000 customers all over the world. The company’s over 2,200 employees and 2,900 plus partners in more than 50 countries market its products under the ALE brand.
